Hey,

I’m David and I helped to start this wonderful studio. It’s always been the dream to open a place where I could bring together a bunch of creators that I admire to both showcase their work and encourage future collaborations.

Through my passion for people I grew to love photography and the genuine connections I was able to make with inspiring people whom I'd just met.

Soon after school I began working as a photo assistant for the legendary photographer Bruce Weber. I was able to learn from a master and was surrounded by the most wonderful family of collaborators.

I recently made the jump and moved to LA with Kathleen and started on our own adventure as a creative duo. Please take advantage of the features we share on our studio website and get to know the lovely people shaping our lives and the lives of the many others around them.

David is an excellent photographer... Obviously we think so, he's our co-founder. But not only that, the way he engages with his subjects is on another level. You can see the feel the emotional connections in every photo he takes. Here are some of his feature stories that Be Good* collaborated on with him and some truly amazing talent.

Dusty, Come Home

Wisconsin born Dusty Lachowicz came through to our tiny apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn for coffee and to catch-up on life. It's been a while since we last spoke, but he's still the same kind heart.

Me or the Music

Sam Evans' towering height, calm demeanor and classic look totally masked the fact that he’s only 17 years-old. His presence in front of the camera is that of an actors, filled with emotion and intention. With Kathleen Howes as his leading lady and a 1956 T-Bird as the backdrop, 'Me or The Music' is timeless story of love lost.

The Rain on Mercer

We spent the morning with the German born Jules Horn in the rainy cobblestone streets of SoHo in Manhattan. Channeling a classic and mysterious film noir aesthetic, 'The Rain On Mercer' is dark story guided by a dark muse.
